NOIDA: While Modi government is all set to mark the International Yoga Day tomorrow in Delhi, the Noida Authority has planned to organise 'Raahgiri' where people will perform yoga and other activities to relax and enjoy the day. 

Planned on the pattern 'Delhi Raahgiri' and starting tomorrow, 'Raahgiri Noida' will be organised each Sunday of the week. 

From 6 am to 9 am, the designated road will be blocked, allowing safe passage for attendees to enjoy the event. 

It will take place in Sector 18 Main Road, opposite the Great India Place (TGIP) Mall here. 

For the safety and security of the public, the road from Sector 37 going towards the Mahamaya expressway will be kept closed. 

To play football, badminton, basketball and cricket, the podium area of TGIP Mall will be made available. 

Skating and decathlon can be performed at Gates No. 8 & 9 respectively. 

For car parking, people can access from Gate No.2 at the Celebration Ground Parking. 

"It's our humble request to everyone to take some time out in the freshness of the morning and enjoy the Raahgiri event with yoga, sports, music, dance and many such recreational activities along with showcasing own talents," said Rama Raman, CEO, Noida and Greater Noida Authority.. 
Raahgiri will be the platform that will allow people to take out three hours from their busy schedules on Sundays and work on their health. 

Yoga, aerobics, sports, street acts and several such entertainment activities will allow people to relax and enjoy, which is extremely important for physical and mental well-being.
