CYCLING AROUND CP: It was all about having fun under the sun at this edition of Raahgiri Day in CP .
It seemed like everyone wanted to cycle around CP , because the cycle stand was soon empty , and those stand was soon empty , and those who missed the chance to grab a cycle were seen play ing badminton, football or skipping.
TUG OF WAR WINS: Raahgirs were seen trying their hand at arm-wrestling against the members of Delhi's Strongest Club. Tug of war was another of Delhi's Strongest Club. Tug of war was another game that was a big hit with Raahgirs as many stood in long queues for their turn, and cheered loudly . Kids of Mukul Sonwal Dutch Dragon group performed many skipping stunts, inspiring Raahgirs to try some themselves. Many indulged in the dance ther apy session organized by Satyanarayana, while oth ers danced to the upbeat tunes of city-based band, Parindey . Raahgirs also joined in the jam session by Djembefola United, and watched the street play by Khanabadosh group on drug abuse.
DISASTER MANAGEMENT: The display of disaster management equipment by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) was a major attrac tion at this edition of Raahgiri. They also gave a demonstration of rescue operations dur ing floods and earthquakes. A dog show was also organized by the NDRF, in which the officials taught dog owners which the officials taught dog owners how to train their dogs to assist them in rescuing people.
