This edition of Dwarka's Raahgiri Day saw the usual masti and enthusiasm as many turned up despite the heat to enjoy the activities lines up at the TOI stage. Emcee Madhukar had the audience in splits with his mimicry . Many participated in the `simply laugh loudly' activity with Sevek Jagwani of the Federation of CGHS Dwarka Ltd, to take a break from their daily routine and destress. He even invited some of the elderly who were at Raahgiri on stage to dance.
RAAHGIRI'S WORTH IT!
This was followed by a street play by Kabhi Prayas Kala Sangam called Alvida Na Kehna on female foeticide and infanticide. The day's activities concluded with It's Playtime at Raahgiri as people sang, danced and came on to the stage to perform. Many were spotted beating the heat with cool drinks and ice creams. Neha, a secondyear DU student, told us, “I love dancing. I live here so I can see that Raahgiri brings out the best in Sunday morning. It's hot nowadays, but Raahgiri is worth it!“
